Hopkins County – At least two men eluded Cumby Police and Hopkins County deputies after a high speed chase. The chase began shortly after 10pm Sunday when the men failed to stop for Cumby Police on a routine traffic stop. The chase ended on County Road 1218 south of Brashear when the men wrecked their car and fled on foot. Police attempted to track the men with a K9 unit.
