Greenville – The case has been made for a tourism director in Greenville. Greenville Chamber Executive Director Sally Bird made her case directly to the council for the need of a full-time local tourism director. A majority of the council has said they are not in favor of using hotel-motel tax revenue to pay for a tourism director.
