Greenville – A Greenville man is again sought in connection to a 2009 shooting incident after failing to appear in court.
The start of trial for Alejandro Maldonado had been scheduled for Monday. After failing to appear in court, a judge forfeited Maldonado's bond, denied him a new bond and ordered the issuance of a new warrant for the defendant's arrest.
Maldonado is charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon from a January 2009 incident. He's alleged to have shot and wounded one man and attempted to run over another with a vehicle.
