Larry Franklin was brought up in a family of champion fiddle players in Texas, and quickly picked up the family trade - later becoming a World Champion Fiddler himself at just 16 years old. He later went on to win 2 Grammys during his years fiddling for with Asleep At The Wheel, and currently records and tours with the Country "Supergroup" The Time Jumpers.

Larry recently talked with Matt Meinke about everything from his upbringing in Whitewright, to his love of non-commercial media, and the fun he's having with Vince Gill and company in The Time Jumpers.
