GREENVILLE - Two south Hunt County residents have been indicted on charges of injury to a child stemming from a December incident.
Erin Elizabeth Saari, of West Tawakoni, and Trevor Scott Copeland, of Quinlan remain in custody for the alleged assault on Sari’s two-year-old daughter. The indictment alleges the pair injured the child by punching, kicking, hitting with blunt force trauma and/or strangling with hands.
The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office became involved in the case after receiving a call from a local hospital.
