Bobbie Purdy and Vivian Freeman of the Silver Leos, a creative writing group and a part of the Texas A&M University-Commerce Alumni Association, say the important thing is to first put your stories down on paper and not worry about the punctuation, grammar and other details, which can be attended to later.  The Silver Leos were formed by A&M-Commerce English professor Dr. Fred Tarpley, who died in 2014.  They're hosting their annual conference this Saturday at the Rayburn Student Center.
