Cost of high deductibles drives up emergency visits

Kim Saenz, the director of the Hunt Regional Healthcare Emergency Center in Commerce, discusses reports that emergency room visits are increasing across the country because high insurance deductibles prevent people from seeing primary-care physicians.  Another factor, she says, is the rising cost of medication.
