Weather forecasting was primitive, at best, in 1915

Carol Taylor, the chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission, reviews the events of the county in 1915, 100 years ago, and was moved by the story of a 13-year-old boy who was surprised by a thunderstorm and killed by lightning.  She reflects on how today we are so much better informed on the weather.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
