Greenville Churches 'Obsessed' With Billy Sunday, 1915

Carol Taylor, the chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission, says Greenville churches in 1915 were determined to bring superstar evangelist Billy Sunday to town, but settled for chartering a train to hear him preach in Dallas.  Carol says women at the upper level of local society 100 years ago were the moral and cultural leaders of the community.
