Summer Brings Nutrition Challenges For Children

Sally Rhodes, Hunt Regional Healthcare registered nutritionist, discusses summer nutrition needs for children, particularly those involved in sports.  She recommends a number of alternatives to fast food, and says water is generally better for hydration than sports drinks.  Sally also reflects on an article recommending that parents involve kids in growing their own fruits and vegetables in the summer.
