Eagle Fest, Emory

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville relates plans for Eagle Fest at Rains High School in Emory this Saturday and Sunday (January 28-29).  Rains County is known as the "Eagle Capital of Texas," and Pud says she's seen bald eagles on the wing at Lake Tawakoni and Club Lake southeast of Greenville.  Other upcoming events include "Golden Oldies Movie Night" at the Audie Murphy-American Cotton Museum in Greenville, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening (Janury 28), and the "Daddy-Daughter Dance," Saturday night, February 4, at the Northeast Texas Children's Museum.  Also, Pud says her Daybreak Rotary Club in Greenville is selling subscriptions for the placement of American flags on various holidays.
