The Delta County Chamber announces after 18 years office manager Gracie Young will be officially retiring. She informed the Board of Directors last Tuesday morning.
The Board will be hosting a reception for Gracie Young on Thursday, Aug. 2 from 2-4 p.m. at the Delta County Chamber of Commerce office and meeting room located at 41 West Side Square in Cooper, Texas. The public is invited to attend and extend their good wishes.
“She has been a vital part of the Chamber for many, many years; however, we are also very pleased to see her able to enjoy her retirement days,” said Chamber Executive Director Ken Cottongame. The Board echoed his words. She will be able to concentrate more on attending events at the Senior Center like bingo and exercise and work on her sewing.
