Carol Taylor: 1880 Census Reveals A Lot About Hunt County Medical Care

Carol Taylor, chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission, says the 1880 census indicates a great deal about fatal illnesses in Hunt County and the doctors who had practices here at the time.  Of the 309 deaths recorded in the county, 78 were infants.
