Buying A Car Today Is A Costly Proposition

Derek Price, "Cargazing" columnist, reflects on reports that the price of new and used cars remains extremely high, and may remain so for some time to come.  One expert compares it to the shortage of toilet paper early in the  coroanvirus pandemic.  Derek comments on recommendations for buying new or used car in the inflated market.  The average cost of a new car is now $41,000 and the average cost of a used car is $26,500.
