Red River County – Police and FBI nabbed a man last week in connection with the robbery of the Red River Federal Credit Union. 35 year old Jeffrey Todd Merchant was arrested in Bowie County last Tuesday. Merchant was found in a building behind his ex-wife's business. After taking the man into custody, authorities searched the building and recovered the money taken in the bank robbery.
