Hunt County – The start of early voting is slow in Hunt County.

Hunt County Elections Administrator Mina Cook said a total of 33 ballots were cast at her office Monday.

Voters who did not have time Monday to participate will have extended hours both today and Thursday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Hunt County Voter Administration Office in Greenville. All other days now through next Tuesday will hold 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours.

Votes are being cast early for city councils, school district boards and three of the county's special utility districts boards, as well as a couple bond proposals in Hopkins and Lamar Counties.
