Trials set in county police dept. burglaries

Greenville – Trial dates have been set in the reported burglaries of two Hunt County Police Departments.

21-year-old Marcus Antonio Rios and 26-year-old Stephen Robert Chaney, both of Quinlan, have pleaded not guilty to breaking into the Quinlan and West Tawakoni police departments, respectively.

Chaney is scheduled for a tentative trial date on July 13 and Rios has a tentative August 17 trial date.

Chaney has been indicted for burglary of a building, tampering with physical evidence and theft of a firearm in his alleged break-in of the West Tawakoni PD in August, 2008. Rios is alleged of burglary of a building by committing theft in the reported break-in of Quinlan PD in February, 2009.
