Greenville – A local volunteer group is making sure students have the right tools for school.
The 6th annual "Tools for Schools" event is scheduled for between 8 a.m. and noon August 15 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Greenville. The drive will help provide school supplies to local students.
The City of Commerce finished their "Stuff the Bus" campaign over the weekend.
Last year "Tools for Schools"events, was able to provide materials for 1,200 children, as the drive was able to meet its goal of helping economically disadvantaged families.
