Bonham – Two people were killed over the weekend following a plane crash Saturday morning just north of Bonham.
The experimental plane went down behind a home on HW 78 North shortly after take-off when the engine reportedly failed. The victims are identified as 59-year old Linda Wingo, of Leonard, and 57-year old William Pearson. The two died at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by the NTSB, the DPS and the Fannin County Sheriffs Office.
