Commerce – A not guilty plea has been entered to an evading arrest charge.
Christopher Alex Myers, of Garland, entered the plea Monday. A tentative trial date was set for July 12.
Myers is alleged to have fled from a Commerce Police office in August. The vehicle which he was driving was said to be used as a deadly weapon.
Evading arrest is a state jail felony punishable by maximum sentence of up to two years in jail.
