Hopkins County – An individual has been transported to a local hospital after they were struck by a vehicle shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday just outside the Sulphur Springs City limits.
Authorities said a helicopter had arrived on the scene along CR 2310 to care flight the patient, who was said to be suffering from multiple injuries.
A chaplain on the scene was ministering to the driver of the vehicle. Motorists were being asked to avoid the area.
