Public Radio for Northeast Texas

Rain to move through region this weekend

Your Weekend Weather Forecast for Friday May 11th
Daniel Starks/KETR

As college students prepare to move out, rain could delay them this weekend.

A low pressure system moved through the region Thursday night and should bring rain and isolated thunderstorms to the region on Friday and Saturday. These storms are not expected to be severe, so just enjoy the cool breeze and the sound of rain on your roof.

Sunday should be partly sunny with a high of 76, and a chance of showers on Monday.

Have a blessed day and stay safe!
