JFK Doctor has Died

A doctor that attached a heart monitor to President John F. Kennedy in a Dallas hospital’s emergency room and interviewed wounded Texas Governor John Connally for surgery has died. 

Dr. Adolph H. “Buddy” Giesecke Jr. was 79. Giesecke died at his home on December 24th, according to Martin Giesecke, the doctor’s son. The elder Giesecke was working at Parkland Hospital on November 22ndwhen Kennedy was assassinated and Connally was struck while riding in the same vehicle. Giesecke spent most of his career at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
