GREENVILLE - The former president of the Greenville ISD’s Bowie Elementary Parent Teacher Association has been charged with stealing thousands from the organization.
The Hunt County Grand Jury Friday issued a forgery indictment against 35-year-old Amy Jenkins Gray. The 21 separate counts allege Gray wrote forged checks on the PTA account between August 20 and November 27, 2011.
Family members say the entire missing amount has been repaid, which totals more than $19,000.
