WOOD COUNTY - Four adults were reportedly riding in the car along CR 2231 near Lake Holbrook, west of Mineola.
Officials say the driver apparently lost control and the vehicle struck a bridge near Key’s Creek. 58-year-old Fannie Corder Crowell of Mineola was pronounced dead at the scene and 33-year-old Monica Marie Hayes of Alba died later at ETMC in Quitman.
37-year-old Donald Ray Houck is listed in stable condition at ETMC in Tyler and 57-year-old Cecil Corder Cantrell is in serious condition at Mother Francis Hospital.
