GREENVILLE -This Halloween in Greenville citizens are invited to embark on a tour which focuses on a 115-year-old triple drowning.
The inaugural Greenville Halloween Weekend Ghost Tour on October 27, conducted by Dwanna Paul, includes visits to East Mount Cemetery and a Victorian home connected to the drowning of three people, including Greenville's first millionaire Tom King.
As the story goes, King; along with a woman believed to be his mistress, a bank associate and another single woman all went for a midnight swim at one of King's properties on June 16, 1897. Only the bank associate came out alive.
According to the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, the tour concludes with a séance at the Blue Armadillo Winery (once the site of King's own bank). The event will begin at dusk (approximately 6 p.m.) and will last two hours, including the séance or a meeting of people to receive spiritualistic messages. Guests will board a chartered bus in the 2700 block of Lee Street in downtown Greenville for these destinations. The ticket price of $35 will also include one glass of wine prior to the séance.

The Greenville event will be limited to 55 attendees. A camera crew will record the event.
