KAUFMAN - The theft of saddles from Jake E’s Riding Round Up are valued at $11,000.
The founder of the organization, Jana Ewing, tells WFAA-TV that said someone broke into the facility's tack room last Wednesday and stole the equipment.
“They ended up taking every western saddle that we have.”
The non-profit organization, based in the City of Kaufman, offers services to a variety of clients in Kaufman, Van Zandt, Smith, Rockwall and Dallas Counties. According to their website, customers include veterans and at-risk youth, as well as elderly and special needs individuals.
Jake E's says they're offering a reward for information in the case.
