Nate Newton will speak on addiction recovery at A&M-C Thursday, Sept. 24

September is Recovery Month, and Texas A&M University-Commerce associate professor of counseling Dr. LaVelle Hendricks says Dallas Cowboys great Nate Newton will speak on his triumph over drug addiction at 7 p.m., Thursday, September 24 in the University Auditorium, located in the Ferguson Social Science Building.  The event is free.  LaVelle says the A&M-Commerce Department of Counseling, Psychology and Special Education will offer support group meetings for those in addiction recovery at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 10 in Binnion Hall, Room 120.
