Kim Saenz, the director of the Hunt Regional Emergency Centers in Commerce and Quinlan, says May is both Mental Health Month and Stroke Awareness Month. "FAST" is the acronym to remember when responding to stroke: "F," take note of facial drooping; "A," be aware of weakness or drooping in the arm; "S," be alert to slurred speech; and "T," take action. Kim says Hunt Healthcare has a new stroke program coordinator, Cindy Usher.
