First Contested Cooper Mayor's Election In 14 Years

The editor of the Cooper Review, Cindy Roller, says the city of Cooper will have its first contested mayoral election in 14 years on Saturday, May 6.  Long-time Mayor Scott Stegall has decided not to run again.  As of late last week, five candidates had registered to run for mayor in Cooper.
