- The Texas A&M System Research and Innovation Center is slated to be built in downtown Fort Worth, alongside the university’s law school. A&M Chancellor John Sharp says it will be a hub for students looking to enter the workforce of tomorrow.
- The university system is also planning to build an Education Alliance Building, which would host conferences and courses. Texas A&M University System officials signed a non-binding agreement with Fort Worth leaders last week, outlining the plan. Parts of it will need approval from the city council and Tarrant County Commissioners.
