The Cooper Lake Cultural Center's outdoor amphitheater will be getting some improvements soon. A $134,000 grant was from HUD will allow the Center to complete the base of the stage and install several tiers of seating, steps and sidewalks. The grant comes at a good time, as lighted parking, utilities, and a waste water treatment facility were completed last year.
The grant sets the stage for small events this fall, and more technically intensive events as construction continues
