Cumby – A Cumby police officer made a big drug bust early yesterday morning. Officer Charlie Walker became suspicious of a couple at a beverage store in Cumby and asked if he could search their minivan. After receiving consent, walker found 20 pounds of marijuana hidden in a secret compartment between the floorboard and the spare tire.
Both were arrested on felony drug charges. The couple is from Ohio. One of them is also a teacher at a Daycare center.
