Cumby – The Cumby High School football team has a working Thanksgiving holiday, but for a good reason. The Trojans are preparing to play for the 1-A area championship Friday night. The Trojans, with a season record of 6-4, take on Tenaha. Friday night's game is in Gladewater at Jack Murphy stadium and starts at 7:30 p.m. This is Cumby's first trip to the playoffs since 1979.
