A new zone has been created to help economic development in Greenville.

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A new zone has been created to help economic development in Greenville. The city council voted Tuesday to create a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone, or TIRZ. The move is expected to create hundreds of millions of dollars for improvements and developments around the city, including water and sewer lines, road improvements, and the Greenville Town Center Project among other development.
