Two Greenville residents killed following accident

By Scott Harvey

Greenville – The Texas Department of Public Safety is reporting the death of a Greenville woman and a young child following a one vehicle accident along Interstate 30 in Hunt County.

31 year old Shetirra Rhoden died shortly following transport Friday evening to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Eleven-month-old Ty'nira Massey, also of Greenville, was pronounced dead Sunday.

The incident occurred Friday at around 8:30 p.m. east of Royse City near the 82 mile marker.

According to state troopers, the wreck occurred when a tire on Rhoden's vehicle blew out, causing her to lose control and the vehicle to roll over.
