Sulphur Springs – The City of Sulphur Springs has been awarded $4.3 million from The Texas Transportation Commission.
The funds will go toward improvements to Municipal Airport, specifically the runway and better lighting.
Officials hope to have a contract in place this winter for the project, with work to begin shortly thereafter.
