Suspect killed after police chase ends in Hopkins County

Commerce, Greenville – A Dallas man on a stolen motorcycle was killed Monday when he wrecked out in Hopkins County following a high speed chase.

33-year-old Joseph Christopher Testa of Dallas was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pursuit began in Rockwall County and then proceeded east on Interstate 30. The man left the interstate east of Sulphur Springs at the 136 exit and turned around and headed west. He continued to the exit 131 off ramp where he lost control of the motorcycle; hit a driveway culvert and the flipped into the air.
