Greenville – The City of Greenville now begins the search for a new police chief.
A retirement reception was held Thursday for Harold Roseberry, whose last day is Friday. Roseberry has served for 34 years at the Greenville Police Department. Six of those years were served as chief, in which the crime rate dropped sharply.
The city is conducting an internal search for a new police chief. Four candidates have applied for the position, with interviews scheduled to begin May 17.
