Meeting in Greenville to address racial issues

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – Federal officials will be returning to Greenville soon to deal with racial issues in the City.

Reatta Fort with the Department of Justice's Community Relations Service is scheduled to be back next month.

In June, Forte met with members of the City's minority community as the federal agency sought to restore racial stability and harmony.

The follow-up meeting, which is open to the public, is set for 3 p.m. on September 13 at the Reecy Davis Center. The meeting is designed for citizens to voice their concern or ask for information regarding the services provided by the City of Greenville.
