Greenville – A Commerce man will be spending the holidays in jail on a prohibited weapons charge following last month's shooting in Campbell.
An arrest warrant had already been issued for Cory Dominic Heath prior to the incident, after he failed to appear in court in September regarding his probation.
He was sentenced to 180 days behind bars.
The Oct. 20 shooting at the Campbell Car Wash also included the arrest of eight other people. Heath was originally placed on probation for aggravated assault following a throat-slashing incident in Commerce late last year.
