Greenville, TX – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) presented the city with a Dam Safety Report in 2007, which included their recommendations for tree removal and a dam maintenance program at the reservoir system.
Earlier this year the agency did an inspection of both Municipal Reservoirs 4 and 5 at the Water Treatment Plant, which determined the city was classified as a high hazard intermediate-sized dam.
