Tyler – The two men convicted in the string of East Texas church fires have been sentenced by Smith County District Judge Christi Kennedy.
20-year-old Jason Borque has been given five life sentences for arson and three 20 year sentences for attempted arson.
22-year-old Daniel McAlister has been sentenced to two life terms for arson in his involvement in the church fires and two 20 year sentences for attempted arson. The sentences will be served concurrently.
