Arrest made in Wednesday shooting

By Scott Harvey

Commerce – A Commerce man is behind bars for allegedly shooting at a vehicle that was transporting a child.

Officers were informed Wednesday afternoon that the suspected gunman had entered a residence in the 2300 block of Washington.

Christopher Luckey would eventually come out of the house voluntarily and later arrested on a charge of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm. Luckey was listed in the Hunt County Jail on $100,000 bond as of Thursday.

Officers found on the vehicle that had been shot damage from a single bullet in the back, but the bullet did not penetrate the vehicle's inner core.
