Retaliation suspected in Paris shooting spree

Paris – A Paris man is arrested after wrecking his vehicle following a series of reported drive-by shootings.
21-year-old Cornelius Deshong Jenkins was found crashed into a utility pole and was arrested at the scene.
Police were first informed of shots fired at 1st S.W. and Brame Streets. Upon arrival, the office heard another gunshot not far from the scene, where Jenkins was found.
Police believe other individuals were involved in more shootings as retaliation for previous shootings.
