Lubbock – Acting on a tip, Texas State Troopers located and arrested an East Texas man just hours after he was placed on the state's 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list.

Ronald Dee House, of Wills Point, was found at a motel in Lubbock.

House is described as a high risk offender and was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender and parole violations. He had been sentenced to 22 years in prison and was placed on parole in 2005 out of Van Zandt County. House reportedly has family in Lubbock.

Since the arrest was the result of a tip, a $1,000 cash reward will be paid to the individual who provided the information.
