Dr. Michael D. McKinney, M.D., the new Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System, visited the A&M-Commerce campus on Wednesday, February 21st. The Chancellor and A&M-Commerce President Dr. Keith McFarland are seen in the Founders Lounge of the A&M-Commerce Memorial Student Center in front of the portrait of university founder Dr. William Leonidas Mayo. The Texas A&M System has 17 separate agencies. Among them is the statewide Cooperative Extension Service and nine universities, including A&M-Commerce. The System employs 26,000 and has 103,000 students.
