Texas A&M System Chancellor visits Commerce

Dr. Michael D. McKinney, M.D., the new Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System, visited the A&M-Commerce campus on Wednesday, February 21st. The Chancellor and A&M-Commerce President Dr. Keith McFarland are seen in the Founders Lounge of the A&M-Commerce Memorial Student Center in front of the portrait of university founder Dr. William Leonidas Mayo. The Chancellor and President also visited with KETR General Manager Bill Oliver.DID YOU KNOW?

The Texas A&M System has 17 separate agencies. Among them is the statewide Cooperative Extension Service and nine universities, including A&M-Commerce. The System employs 26,000 and has 103,000 students.
