Notably Texan's Matt Meinke is joined in-studio for a Feature Interview with Jason Corcoran from Dallas, who records as Gaston Light.

The debut album "Peel" on Idol Records has been receiving regular spins on Notably Texan, and Matt delves into many of the songs with the artist.  Jason talks about his solo tour, which kicks off in Commerce on April 20th, and you'll  hear about his departure from Texas to Los Angeles where the album was created. Many examples of the eclectic nature of Gaston Light's music are also highlighted in this hour-long Feature Interview.  Originally aired April 19, 2012.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993. Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student broadcasters. A familiar voice of 88-9 KETR, Matt has hosted such shows as The Late Nite Lion, and can currently be heard as host of Notably Texan.
