Maybe spending a sunny November morning listening to a couple of geezers talking about journalism and politics isn't the ultimate public radio experience, but if nothing else, it's very public radio.

John Kanelis, KETR's Princeton-based blogger and sometime reporter, talks with North By Northeast host Mark Haslett about topics ranging from the decline of newspapers, the role of editorial journalism, the question of fairness and objectivity in reporting, and a little bit about hyper-partisan political dystopia.

If you missed the Nov. 15 North By Northeast live broadcast, here's everything except "Why Can't We Be Friends?" by the 1970s funk powerhouse group War, which was redacted for copyright reasons. We have some great break music during North By Northeast, but you've got to listen live to hear it.
