BOVINA, TX - A veteran Northeast Texas police officer has been named chief of the Bovina Police Department in West Texas.
Andy Chester most recently served as a Lieutenant with the Winnsboro PD, and formerly served with the Sulphur Springs PD, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and Mt. Pleasant PD. He was also an instructor with the East Texas Police Academy for classes in Sulphur Springs.
